WEECE is a community-based organization using an integrated approach to address the problems of poverty and discrimination. Its mission is to support marginalized women in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania to achieve economic stability and gender equality.


A community that respects women and recognizes them as men's equal, including in decision-making bodies.


The WEECE is a not-for-profit, non-political, non-governmental organization devoted to supporting the marginalized women of Kilimanjaro region to achieve economic stability and gender equality through education, advocacy, and micro-loans.
